Youth Empowerment

With over 60% of Africa’s population under 25, Inspire Action Africa empowers youth through initiatives in entrepreneurship, leadership, technology, arts, and sports. We equip vulnerable youth with skills and opportunities to drive economic growth while addressing challenges like addiction. By offering training, mentorship and resources, we tackle youth unemployment, underrepresentation in leadership, and issues affecting well-being. Our programs enable Africa’s youth to unlock their potential and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation

With over 60% of Africa’s population under 25 and youth unemployment exceeding 30% in some regions, empowering young entrepreneurs is vital. At Inspire Action Africa, we equip youth with entrepreneurial skills and opportunities to transform ideas into thriving businesses through training, mentorship, and access to capital. Participants can also pitch their business ideas in competitions for potential investment, fostering economic growth across the continent.

Youth Leadership

Despite forming a significant portion of the population, less than 6% of parliamentarians in Africa are under 30, and youth unemployment rates exceed 30% in some regions. At Inspire Action Africa, we nurture future leaders by offering training in leadership skills, public speaking, and community engagement. Our program encourages youth to take on leadership roles in their communities and actively participate in civic activities, including volunteerism and advocacy.

Youth and Technology

With internet penetration in Africa estimated at 43% in 2023 and a youth population exceeding 400 million aged 15-35, technology offers immense opportunities. At Inspire Action Africa, we equip vulnerable youth with digital skills, training in electronics repairs, and facilitate access to employment and entrepreneurship in the technology industry. By fostering tech-savvy leadership, we empower young Africans to drive economic growth and social development across the continent.

Youth in Arts and Sports

With over 60% of Africa’s population under 25, arts and sports are vital avenues for youth empowerment. The creative industry contributes significantly to Africa’s economy, employing around 2.4 million people. Sports engage millions of young people, promoting health and social cohesion. At Inspire Action Africa, we empower youth by providing training, resources, and platforms in arts and sports, fostering talent development and community engagement.
