Catherine Nderi is the Chief Executive Officer of Inspire Action Africa, where she passionately leads the organization's mission to empower vulnerable women, girls, and persons with disabilities across Africa. With a career spanning over 17 years in women empowerment, child protection, public health and social development, Catherine has been at the forefront of initiatives aimed at advancing gender equality, promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights, and ensuring the safety and well-being of women, girls and children both online and offline.
Her commitment to community engagement has resulted in the successful implementation of numerous projects that uplift and protect the most vulnerable. She has collaborated with various international organizations, including UNICEF, UNHCR, ILO, World Bank, FCDO, CDC and USAID, leveraging these partnerships to maximize the impact of her work. Catherine’s leadership in projects such as the Girls’ Education Challenge and various Maternal Newborn and Child Health projects has made a significant impact in several African countries, including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.
